The hydraulic steering on my 1998 400A quit yesterday. All other hydraulics are working perfectly well (both the front loader and the three point), reservoir is full oil as well. The steering wheel will not budge either to the left or right. This happened once before, momentarily, then worked fine after that. This time it appears that it will not fix itself. Unfortunately, the operator's manual is fairly concise on the other hydraulic parts, but not the steering in particular. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for your help and advice. - Chris

try taking the steering shaft apart. Mine did the same thing, and it was dirt in the bushing where it went through the instrument panel. I took the shaft out of the box, cleaned it and the bushing and greased it. ....
