How about a debate? Which is the better brush hog... the Woods BB60C or the Bush Hog Squealer SQ60?
Durability, longevity, and production.
What do you think?

For me as a dealer Bush Hog has always been there and Woods hasn't. We made a choice about 7 years ago and dropped Woods because of poor product support at the time. Both lines are quite comparable for quality one a little more in one area then the other today but otherwise I'd talk with the dealers. ....

Never owned one or used one. I have been around a lot of them for some reason Bush Hog is the brand of choice. Even if it is another brand, they always have to get the bush hog to knock down the fire lane. My two cents what ever it maybe worth. ....

SG: :) If you've never had one or used one---isn't that sort of like a monk talking about marriage?
So we'll need a penny back from yer two-cents worth. But not to worry you are still the smartest man I know.
Art: Why do you think it is that Woods dosn't have the support it should? Aren't they a supplier to the OEM's like New Holland (I'm thinking the backhoes for skid steers)? ....

earth......my dealer said the same thing about Woods. I own the Bush Hog SQ60 b/c of my dealer recommendation. He used to carry Woods equipment but now mostly Bush Hog. He said Woods had some problems in the past with quality such as rear blades being bent, etc. and then the company wouldn't take care of it.
He said he'd get me Woods if I wanted it but he never had any complaints on the Bush Hog stuff. He's been in business for 37 years and is a well respected guy in my area.....I took his advice and I really like my Squealer.
We had a Woods bush hog for our JD and a rear blade as well.........granted they were well used and had some years on them but I can tell you that we've repaired and even had that blade professionally welded multiple times and the thing constantly breaks where the blade and the support arm come together. It's a piss poor design.
The 6ft. Bush Hog blade for my Kubota has been very nice so far. ....
