Has anybody bought and used this machine? It will do intricate 3d carving and handle boards up to 14 1/2" wide and 5" thick. It costs about $1,900.00 and looks like you can download 3d scroll work and other things like logos, , name tags, etc. It is called out as 0921754 in my latest Craftsman ower and handtool catalog on the back cover.

My wife and I saw the TV commercial for it. We both looked and saw it's basically a multi-axis CNC unit for small woodworkers. I have no opinion as to it's quality or performance. I wouldn't get it past the CFO since I have some carving knives. Same end product, just a little rougher and takes longer.

Now in 20 years when the kids are gone and I'm driving her nuts, then maybe she'll let me so I'll be in the shop and leaving her alone. ....
