Aloha All:

I'd like to get a second set of front rims (6x12) for my CC 7205 MFD. I just put new rubber on the front and would like to use the old tires as quick-swap spares when I have a flat (unfortunately a not infrequent occurence with some of the thorns on the property).

My local ag tire shop says they could get a 6x12 rim for me, but that the bolt pattern would not match the CC. My CC parts manual doesn't even list a part number for the rims, and the local CC dealer is not interested in helping a little guy like me.

I've tried Google and eBay without success, so I'm hoping that someone has been through this before.

Mahalo and Aloha!

Jonathan

Hi:

I tried clicking the link and get the following message:

Your EMPARTweb session has expired.
Please return to the main page and log in again.

When I click to return to the main page, my browser closes. From looking at the base site of the link, it looks like some sort of b2b supplier site?

Hmmmm.... did the same to me.

Ok. We do it the hard way:

Start here:

http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10051_14101_-1

Scroll down to "Buy CC Parts"

Click on "Illustrated Parts Look-up"

Enter Model # and hit enter

Double Click on "7205 tractor" on the LEFT side of the page

Scroll down the left side and click on "Compact Tires and Rims"

This opens a PDF file...... scroll down untill your find the parts numbers for your 7205.

Hope this works better......... Mark.

BTW..... Captain Cook is one of my favorite places in HI.

This is a very difficult web site to negotiate.

If you are still having trouble, I saved the page with the part numbers and can e-mail it to you.

Hi Mark:

Thanks! I did manage to negotiate the maze and found the PDF that had all of the tire/rim information. I determined that for my model of tractor I need the 634-3101 part (23 x 6.00 x 12).

I went to the CC order page and entered the part number and up popped "634-3101: WHL ASM:12.0 X 5.0", note the 12.0x5.0. So, clearly there is a mis-match somewhere between the catalog and the ordering system. The price is very good, $68.08 each, so no worries there.

I guess I will need to call them and confirm that it really is a 6x12 and not a 5x12, because I sure do not want to pay shipping to Hawai'i for the wrong part.

Thank you for your help to negotiate the web-site!

Aloha! Jonathan ....
