Tonight, my drive belt snapped on my 2009 LTX1040 with only 12 hours on the mower. I replaced the belt; however the spring from the deck engagement cable fell off. I cannot figure out where this spring connects, but figure it has to be somewhere near the idler area. I looked on the Cub Cadet parts manual and cannot tell where it connects in the schematic. Can someone please send me a picture or describe where the hook on the spring connects to?

Adam, most dealers are looking up the parts with computers today and we often print the parts pages for our customers to assist them with installations. You might just ask them! ....

Tried that with the dealer and Cub Cadet Factory Part. The schematics do not show where the cable connects :(
Also, the 2010 model changed, so I cannot go to Home Depot and look at another one. ....
