I've considered that engine the small block Chevy of diesels since it was introduced. It is not any wheres near as easy to work on a chevy for modifications but what it can do out of the box is awsome. 359 cubic inches and factory rated to more than 300 horsepower. Torque band is near flat and low at the 300 but that still says a lot! ....
