Does anyone have any experience with a JD 855?
I found a 98 model with 300 hours on it. I have been finding two different hp ratings. One thing says it has 24 and another says it has 19. The tractor is a two wheel drive, hydro trans, includes front weights and a King Kutter finish mower. The owner bought it new and has only used it for finish mowing. He wants $8,000.
I will use it mainly for finish mowing. Possibly get a FEL later for light duty apps, etc.
Any opinions are welcome. I need to let this guy know something soon.

The tractor is 24 hp over all and 19 hp PTO. The 955 is 32 HP over all and 27HP PTO. The hydraulic independent PTO must use about 5 HP.
Price wise looks Ok.
