I opened the fuel tank drain valve for the first time since I owned the JD 4300. I drained per the instructions, now it will not stop dripping. It is a very slow drip but it is dripping. It is similar to the drain cock on my car. What can I do except to replace it. I have 197 hours on this tractor. Thanks

It may have gotten some crud lodged in it when you opened it to drain the crap off the bottom of the tank. Try opening and shutting the drain valve several times. This may wash through whatever material may have lodge in the valve causing the leak hopefully. It is worth a try before you replace the valve. ....
