I have a JD 261 finish mower on a Kubota B76. Works great cept I have many trees and bushes to get around. The side with the discharge is always in the way. What happens if I cut that side off so it sticks out bout the same as the other side???

Seems like it would be very dangerous. If you cut it back and welding an end on it for safety, no doubt it would create a problem with not being able to discharge the clippings.

How about a rear discharge mower?
