Grab the spindle (or each in turn if more than one) and try to wiggle it especially sideways. If there's any lateral play, shop for a replacement for when yours eventually gives out. (Some would suggest doing so when they're not spinning.) If there's three, you might want to get two new ones, because after the first failure another is likely. ....

That is exactly what is happening!! When I wiggle two of them, they both shake where as the other one does not. Thanks for verifying, my husband thinks I don't know WTH I'm talking about,,,,now I can proudly say "I'm right"!!! LOL ....

In that case it would be worth to try this. Remove the spindle. Likely just takes a wrench and maybe an Allen key.

Remove and clean all the innards, noting where the bearings and seals go. You might need a puller/press.

It's likely just one bad bearing race. You can tell when you see and feel it. Take or send it to a bearing shop, or there might be an ID number stamped on it, which along with the dimensions might suffice.

Get whatever replacements you need, grease thoroughly, and reassemble. If it's the same part in both, you might as well do the third too. You might end up with an effectively new mower for pocket (sorry, purse) change.

It would be reasonable to wait until the end of the mowing season if you want. ....

I did take them out and clean & grease all of the parts over the weekend. The other problem was that the bolt is actually stuck inside the shaft assembly.

For what it's worth, I'd be better off just getting new spindles and blades rather than deal with the aggravation of dislodging the bolt.

At least I know I was on the right track. This is what happens when I leave the maintenance up to my husband (it doesn't get done!!). ;-)

Thanks again for your help!!!

Option 1. Needs a puller. Simple job in the right shop. Then rebuild.

2. Keep the new ones on standby but continue using the old ones. Could last two days or two decades.

3. Switch out both or all three.

The blades are a separate matter. ....
