4wd, 2cyl, MF205 or Hinomoto e-18: Runs good, shifts through all forward and reverse gears, (manual clutch-wet), pto operates in all gears, synchro mesh-posi loc at rear axle works. The 4wd engagement lever moves to the "in and out" positions. It feels like the lever is moving a syncro gear to the drive gear, but not grabbing the drive gear. Dosen't feel right, seems to me that there would be a fair amount of "thrust/tension/solidness" you would feel while moving the 4wd lever. (No, the front wheels do not rotate when raised off the ground.) I do have the correct IT repair manual but it is very vague and only isometric gear illustrations. Not enough for me to come to a dianosis.... Does anyone have a comment, link, post, thread, website, solution or have had the same problem...???
Thanks
