Iam having trouble with my 4x4 engaging,I have the lever in 4x4 and sometimes it engages,is there an adjustment of some kind?I pick up the front wheels and its on 4x4,the wheels spin but with a slight thumping feel,if I turn it real slow the wheel locks up like its engaged,any ideas on what to check THANKS

The Jinma design is such that both front wheel drive AND the rear diff must be engaged with the tractor slightly in motion. It's a matter of engaging a fork on a certain place on a rotating shaft. If it's not aligned exactly when stopped, it won't engage. A quarter to half rotation of the respective wheel is normally all it takes.

thanks for the reply,sometimes Ill notice the front wheels are engaged then say Im pulling a box blade the rear wheels start spinning and the front are not,I lifted the front wheels and I spin the wheels and I can hear like something is trying to engage,then I spin the wheel real slow and it will lock like its engaged in 4x4.Do you have a schematic of the front axle maybe I could look at? ....

Yes, but you'll have to give me your email address so I can send it to you as an attachment. You'll need to look at the front diff diagram, the front hubs diagram, and the transfer case diagram to get the big picture
