anyone have any idea how to minimize belt slippage when encountering water. I use my diesel gator for atv type camping and would like to add to its creek fording ability. I have a fab shop and equip. for most projects so any ideas would help

gatoraider, i have seen the covers but cant make one work for my 4x4. Was wondering if maybe some kind of pedal/hand actuated tensioner might work or would it just open up the drive clutch pulley? Also would a that have the effect of pulling the belt further down into drive clutch effectively lowering the gear ratio and thus reducing the load on the belt? ....
