Regulator plug, red is hot from starter lug, brown/yellow and brown/white are feeds from stator, black is ground, yellow and yellow/red are feeds to the harness. So yellow and yellow/red should be getting brighter as RPMs increase. If your red is hot and your ground is grounded, check all the connections. If everything is good it's either the regulator or stator, I've seen way more bad regulators than stators. The stator connection into the regulator should give you a flickering bulb in the test light while running. Check thegatorguy.net for used parts if you don't want to buy a new regulator or stator. ....
