Got a quote on a price in the Cincinnati area. Was hoping that I'm getting a good deal on all of it and decided to run it by you fols first...

J.D. 2210: $9295
J.D. 62" MMM: $1495
J.D. 210 FEL: $2350
Land Pride 42" Rotary Cutter:$795
Land Pride 42" Tiller: $1560
-----------------------------------
TOTAL $15495

Price excludes tax since I will be using it in "Farming/Agriculture" in Ohio and includes all J.D. incentives/rebates.

Any help would be appreciated. If the prices look good and financing goes through, I will be signing papers early next week.

Kevin

I know I'm in a different area (South Carolina), but I'll give you my quotes). I have a 2210 on order (actually I'm waiting on the FEL and 62" MMM to come in).

2210, 210 FEL, 62" MMM for $12,200 before tax.

Make sure you dealer took the $400 implement discounts off the price. ....

Appreciate the help. I know he took off the $400 for the two implements, but wasn't going to at first. He had to call his business manager to "make sure" they were offered on the 2210 as well.

Can anybody else give me an idea of what they've been quoted. I like buying from family-run business, but I also want a good deal.

Looks like I may have to do some calling around on Monday before I sign any papers.

K ....

I paid $12,200 as well for my 2210, 210 FEL with 53" bucket, and the 62 " MMM. I ordered mine with bar tires instead of turf tires.

This was the exact sqame price as another dealer I checked with before buying mine at the closer of the two dealers ....

Definately do some shopping. From what I've seen, the price of the implements are usually close. I've seen lots of differences in tractor prices. I've seen some go from $12,000 to $14,000 for 2210, FEL and MMM ....

Want to thank you for giving me an idea on pricing. I called around to 3 other dealers and then talked to my "Family" dealer and got a slightly better deal, though not as nice as you've gotten.

Deere has (intentionally?) shorted dealers on the number of 2210's available, so if I don't want to travel, I'll have to make do with what I've got. Right now there are only about 6 - 8 2210's in the Cincinnati area. Not much room for dealing.

So to put a (hopefully) happy ending to this story, I'm now an Official John Deere owner.
