Trying to determine the value of a 1992 870 with 2000 hours but with new rings and a valve job, all new gaskets, completely disassembled and rebuilt, painted, decals, hoses, seals, etc...

Has a JD FEL also rebuilt, a 72 inch belly mower, a JD Post hole digger with 9" auger and a 8 foot JD snow plow with 3 Hydraulic cylinders, also completely rebuilt.

Located in Virginia if that matters. Everything looking brand new with fresh paint and decals and good Turf tires.

Thanks
Todd

Todd, I would question why all that had to be done to that machine.

We put far more hours than that on a CUT in a single year in some cases and they don't need that done to them after 3 years.

IMHO, either get it incredibly cheap, I mean REALLY cheap, or keep shopping.

Best of luck. ....

Murf is right ! I have 3675hours on my 870 never touched.
And runs like a top. Some thing is wrong there!
That yammar engine should get at lease 4000 hrs,
Better keep looking. ....

I have recently purchased a Model 870 with only 245 hours.
I have used it 6 hours and everything seems good to me.

I don't know much about the features. Type transmission etc. Research indicates it's probably a 1990 model. I can't imagine where it has been to have such low hours, but they are believable considering it's condition.
Do you have access to any dealer brochures, etc, that I could buy? ....
