Did some mowing the other day with my dk35 and the trans mission got really hot.I noticed it when I tried to use the loader and it would not operate properly.I thought it was just hot weather but it heated up again on another job that was small . the weather that day was cooler also. somone told me it was because of the tranny fluid I used.A generic labled product called certified.MY DEALER SOLD ME THIS.Anny ideas?

Do you hear any type of hissing or squelling in the hydraulics like a valve or relief valve staying on or stuck.
I had a rear remote valve stick one time. It would have caused the oil to overheat, but I caught it first. Sprayed some penatrating oil in the valve/lever. Hasn't stuck since.
But it could be something like that causing your problem.

I cannot find anything in front of the radiator. It dose look as though there is a line goining into the radiator it self. The radiator is clean.the line that goes into the radiator seems not to contain any fluid as I can pinch it shut easily with two fingers.??? thanks every one for the info chasing this problem down .Since I hurt my back I havnt been able to do any thing but gather info on this and do some visual observation. ....

Since DK35 has a gear trans, it prob has no oil cooler.
Besides the possibility of a valve stuck (on relief) as
DK35VINCE mentions, also check:
Low hydro fluid (have a leak?)
dragging brakes (parking brake on?)
pinched hydraulic pressure line ....
