Hi, New to this board but have important question. Can anyone tell me what a good price for a B3030 with 60"mmm,FEL,and BH with R4 tires, in the western New York area,(ie:Buffalo,NY area). Also, does anyone have any experience with the local dealers in this area. I really want to get the B3030 but may settle for a B7800 if the price is to high on the B3030. I have 50+acres,mow 5,rest ponds and woods. Will be slowly clearing some trees, stumps, etc. and cutting avg.20 cord wood/yr. Land is mostly flat. I would appreciate any pricing info. anyone can give or email me with same if you want. Thanks

You have some good dealers that have been in buisness a lot of years in your area. I would wonder why you are stoppng at a 60" deck? You are going to be close to the trac width with the deck. The L-2800 and 3400 would be a good alternative if a rear mower was used and you'd have some extra weight to deal with the larger acreage and projects. The 3400 would take a larger yet three point mower to help cut the mowing time on the 5 acres. ....

Thanks for you help Art. I was hoping to hear from you. I've got it narrowed down to either the B3030, or the L3400,or 3130 if I can swing it. I have a question for you regarding the B3030, does it come standard with the deluxe seat with armrests? It says and shows that in the Kubota cataloge but that wasn't on the one at the dealer. Also, any further input on my final choice. I was thinking about the rear mower but was concerned about getting around trees, etc when mowing. Thanks Again, John ....

It calls for the arm rests in the price book and all those I've got set up have them. The person assembling the tractors might have had to many crates open and put that seat on the wrong tractor. With a lot of tree's you would be looking back a lot so a wider mower would help but the mid mower would make it a lot easier to trim if you have a lot of trees. I normally recommend the smallest tractor and the largest deck for ease of trimming. ....
