The tractor and MMM price seemds OK, however I would agree that the loader price seems a little high. I he may be charging a few too many dollars for the install. You could aske how much the loader is not installed. I installed an LA181 loader on my BX1500. I would do it all over again. Really gave me a chance to understand the hydraulics on the machine. I will netion that I did not know anything about hydraulics (other than what I had read about on the web) before I did this. I am also not a mechanic, so if I can do it, anyone can. ....

Goodboots67

You might want to add some weight to the rear wheels. Even the 150 set would help to offset the loader and it would make such a difference. ....

Hello
Thanks for all the good info, its a good thing I found this
web sight, the Dealer not only charging me a 500.00 too
much, he was selling me a LA203 for the price of LA243.
(The LA203 is for BX1850 Tractor) Got it all straight
with dealer.
BUT this afternoon got an E-mail from a dealer (Barlow
Equipment.com) quoted me a price of 12,689.00 delivered
to louisiana, this was BX2350 w/60" MMM and FEL for
12,689.00, But I already signed agreement to purchase, and
dealer is removing LA203 loader, and replacing w/ LA243.

Thanks for all the info
ajp

I could not read all of your post, however I can tell you that Brady is a great guy. I also worked with him to purchase a tractor and I live in PA. I have heard nothing but good things about his prices and service. If you have a chance to deal with him, I would highly recommend doing so. ....

I live in Pa about 35 miles north of Pittsbourgh and it is really hilly up here. I curently have an "86 Cub Cadet 1812 that has 1200 hours on it, and we think it time to upgrade to a new tractor. So we sent our local Kubota dealer a price quote for a Bx 24 which comes standard with a FEL, and BH but we didnt want the BH so he sent us also a pirce for the BX 2350. The price are the following: the tractor was $9100 base, the FEL is $2565, and the Mid mount deck is $1685. the prices vary a little but not that much, so i would say you got a pretty good deal and only payed a little more than what i would of had to payed. If you are planning to get a BH any time soon and you haven't recieved the tractor yet i would consider buying the Bx 24 and buy the MMM to go with it instead. by doing that it will save you at least 1000 dollars. hope this helps ....

Cub 1812 - We almost bought the BX2350 and then switched to the 7510 HSDTR. Wasn't sure we made the right decision until we spoke to the mechanic yesterday prepping our tractor. He said the BX is a good tractor but is sometimes oversold for heavier use than it's meant for. It runs at 3000 rpm's which is high for a diesel and shortens its life. Also may struggle a bit with in ground implements. You might see if they have any 2006 tractors left over on clearance (if you need a bigger one). We found a great deal that way and were able to upgrade to the 7510. We have fencing, landscaping, tilling, etc to do in addition to mowing & snow removal. ....

well we only live on a 3.5 acre lot actually its 2 lots but we want to get something new compared to our '86 cub cadet that has 1200 hours and we would like a FEL,MMM, and a bh, but we will probably just use it to mow, the occational digging, or plowing in the winter, and to maintain the land. nothing major. and my dad knows how to service them. thats what he has been doing on the cub since he got it. it has never wounce been taken to the dealer for repairs in the 21 years he has had it.
