Looking at a 1990 L2850. 1700 hours has some rust has not been stored in shed. Box blade, bushog, FEL, disc. $7000. A little over my budget. What potential issues should I look for on this model.
thanks

If it's a two wheel drive it's a good deal as they are a good operating tractor. If it's a four wheel drive it's definitely in my budget for resale!
You might want to check the clutch for free play as that seems to be about the most work we do otherr then small end jobs like working on lights. ....

Mr White.
Thanks for the response. My only experience is with old junk 8n and such. This tractor really seems high tech to me. It is a 4WD. My property is somewhat unlevel and 4WD seemed to be plus for me. Is this 4WD known for issues? It is a 1990 I believe. Any info is highly appreciated.
Thnaks ....

Like with any tracor look for wet spots underneath, as well as on the housings for leaking or weeping seals. Look for loose bolts, where paint is removed from on the bolt heads as someone has worked there before. ....
