Unit5alive,

This 2006 model is for sale in South Dakota. It's new, with 0 hours on the meter. Asking price is $24,500.

I'm just guessing that your friend should probably be asking somewhere around $22,500 for his. Depending on the condition, he may not be able to get that much, as a new tractor will come with a 0% financing package for 3 years.

Unit5alive,

Apparently the tractor I posted above is used. It says so on the spec sheet, but the number of hours are not listed.

Rather confusing. Sorry about that.

I purchased a L2800 (which is identical only w/ 29hp) 1/1/2 years ago w/ LA463 FEL and BH75 and love it. It would run you 1,000 to 1500 less new than a L3400 and will do everything you need (hydraulics, specs and pumps are the same) The only difference is the PTO hp. I run a 64" 3pt snow blower in two feet of snow, 72" finish mower, 52" tiller and have never even been close to running out of power. You would get brand new w/ 0% financing, full warranty and the pleasure of breaking it in yourself. ....

I think he paid 25k for it , its like new ! , he's going to let me know the exact hrs. , I think he's going to ask around 21k , he's very picky about his equipment , he put a furnance in his garage just to store the tractor ,the mahindra in my gallery pictures came from him also , if I had the extra money I would buy it ,just because it makes my BX look wimpy , Craig. ....

I traded my BX22 for my L2800 and what a difference. That bx was the biggest little tractor I have ever seen and had my needs not changed I would have kept it a lot longer. If the tractor is as clean as you say than it sounds to me like a fair price. I don't remember the exact numbers on my purchase (L2800 HST, LA463 fel, BH75)because it included the trade for the bx22 along with a Sitrex spreader, 72" rear finish mower and a 64" 3pt snowblower. I am pretty sure it was right around 25,000. I am a firm believer in the HST, it spoils you quick. I live in New England and the prices out here are always a good 5% to 7 % higher than most of the other areas around the country from what I see from watching this forum. You might consider getting some prices for a L2800 from a local dealer. Unless you need the PTO hp, for the most part all the 3400 will do over the 2800 is use more fuel. ....
