I've had my b26 for two weeks now and I thought I would remove the 3pt hitch from its "handy" on-board storage bracket. What a pain! The hitch is broken down into four pieces and is mounted on both sides of the frame. It took me about ten minutes to pull all the pins and wiggle the various pieces free. Everthing was covered with mud and the ball joints were rusted solid. I certainly won't be putting it back there again and I'd advise all owners of similar setups to rescue their hitch components. Otherwise, I love my new tractor.

I have the same tractor and came to the same conclusion about the 3pt hitch storage. Everything fits nicely in a 26" tool box. ....
