Hi,
I am looking for information regarding maintenace, service manual, attachments of an old Kubota tractor Called Ridevator, RV90 7-9 HP, 667CC 2 cylinder disel. It is difficult to find info from Kubota itself as it is 30-40 years old. I read something on this site about RV90 but the posting is from 1999! I would appreciate and advise.

Regards,

Hossien

Are there no Kubota newsgroups? Or long-time dealers?

Sounds like a garden-tractor-size unit on which maintenance would be pretty obvious. Grease any zerks, and change fluids as on any such.

Most attachments are standard for all tractors in the same size category. If yours was designed for some that fit only that model, I doubt any would still be available, especially if Kubota can't help. ....

I repaired the tractor wiring and the clutch. Kubota had the drawing for the clutch that I got with a bit of persistance. I am not a farmer nor I have deep knowledge about farming machinary (despite interest in farming). I am an electronic engineer but usually can work my way around many mechanical tasks like successfully.

I searched the web and I got a posting from this discussion board from 1999 about RV90. I have so far learnt that this tractor has custom attachment. As it has a grader blade and a tiller, to buy something that has these attachments and is newer cost plenty of money. So I decided to use it and I need to use it now after a few years of dusting. I hope this clarifies the issue. ....

The unit was never sold in the US as a represented unit from Kubota. The info you find here might be very limited. ....

Can you tell me what king of tractor this is?
My Gramps-in-law is trying to fix the gearbox, and we'd like to know if it's worth our while to strip her down.
Cheers,
Stephen ....
