Anyone have any advice for me?... My F2400 will "click" when you turn the key to start. It will click repeatedly and after many frustrating minutes, it will engage and the motor will start. I have replaced the battery, starter, and all the connections are CLEAN...HELP!! If we tap the starter with a hammer while turning the key, it "seems" to help, but not always.

You may have a bad solenoid or similar to the problems with my cub cadet. The interlocks or handles for the PTO need to get wiggled to make a clean connection. With my tractor the voltage drop going thru all the safety interlocks and wiring, then finally to the starter often resulted in drop of several volts. Your starter may not operate well at only 9-10 volts.
1. I would wiggle all the PTO switch handles while turning the key.
2. Use a volt meter and check voltage just prior to the connection at the starter.
3. lightly tap the starter solenoid. ....

You're not alone. My New Holland has been plagued withe the same gremlins excatly as you describe them. Add to list 4 starter switches at $38 a pop for me. On mine it reverts back to electronic modules that are over $150 each--with guarantee that's the issue---there are about 7 relays at $15 each too. For now I lift the hood and use a nail to jump the starter. The up-side is it makes it hard to steal. ....

Be very careful 'tapping' the starter with a hammer.
It's pretty easy to break a magnet, and that is a $300+ boo-boo.
From what you are describing it sounds like one of two things.
1) A safety switch is preventing it from cranking as Yooper mentioned.
2) A defective starter solenoid. Don't think just because you replaced the starter this is ruled out, I've gotten lots of defective 'brand new' starters over the years.
The simple way to check what is what is with a second person and a meter. First check that the solenoid is getting power when you turn the key to 'start'. If that is the case, then put power straight to the starter, bypassing the solenoid. If it cranks, the solenoid is bad.
If the solenoid is not getting power, start checking all the safety switches.

You've received a good deal of excellent advice already, but I'd like to add something.
Be sure to check your ground connection at the frame, or at the engine block. Follow the ground wire from the battery to the point where it connects to your tractor.
Be sure to clean both the terminal end and the frame/engine mounting location with a steel brush. I use a 1/2" round plumber's brush, designed for cleaning up copper tubing, prior to soldering. It works great, and it fits into tight spots.
Also, be sure to check your ground wire to make sure it's not worn, or nearly broken. The ground wire is composed of many strands. A few good strands won't handle the heavy current.

Update: My kubota is fixed! there was a "loop" in the wiring harness near the starter that had a bad connection. It was a factory connector. A service tech. told me I did not need that connection for anything! He made mention that maybe it was for some factory add-on accessories..?? or something. Anyhow, it was corroded inside, so after the connector was eliminated and the wires were re-connected, she starts like a charm! No problems at all.
