Does anyone know where I can purchase cylinder sleeves for a B6000. We have had problems with compression and want to change the sleeves.

Thanks
Dave

Unless you are looking for aftermarket I'd think any Kubota dealer could get them for you. Frank. ....

There are several things that I'd wonder, is the decompression lever sticking? Are the old sleeves just glazed, needing honing?

New sleeves from Kubota are about 125 per. To do that I'd do the rings and bearings as well. Probably find the actual valve protrusions and do a valve job as well just to do a good job to justify the labor. ....

From what we have been told here Kubota no longer makes cylinder sleeves for the B6000 since it is an older model. I am trying to find out if someone knows of a shop who would have a set in stock.
Thanks ....

I would think that it might be hard to find a set in stock, we don't stock but parts that move three times a year or more. The number showed good on the computer but I didn't go beyond that, normally that means that they are still available.

Working in an engine shop years ago we used to make quite a few for engines that didn't have them. Then we'd cut the cylinder to match. ....

That is considered a grey market tractor and it is just a matter of finding someone who works with them to get your parts. ....
