Does anybody have a good procedure for swapping out new fuel
filter on my 7510.
The manual is a wee bit vague on this.

How often are folks replacing them?

Cheers,

RD

Roaf3x,

My B2100 has a valve located next to the fuel filter. Yours should have a similar setup.

Turn the valve 90 degrees to shut off the fuel supply from the tank. Remove the clear fuel filter housing by unscrewing the retaining ring from the filter body.

Remove the filter from the bowl and replace it with the new one. It makes no difference which end of the filter goes in first.

Check the o-ring in the retaining cap to be sure that it hasn't become dislodged, then tighten the retaining cap and turn the fuel supply valve back on.

My Kubota manual states that the fuel filter should be either cleaned (kerosene) or replaced every 100 hours of operation.

Hope that helps.

Joel

Hey Joel;

Thanks I will look and see if there is a shutoff.

I did not see one by the filter bowl.

I have noted your cautions.

Thanks!!
