I am looking for the volume both struck and heaped of a Kubota LA 524 66" loader bucket. Does anyone have a manual that shows that information?

I've not seen that question, nor the answer in a manual. Level volume could be calculated with a water-fill; heaped would depend on what and how. If we knew why you ask we might be able to help more. ....

Depends on your skill and persistence in getting a full load each time, whether the pile is high (facilitates heaping) or flat, and if the material is soft enough to dig into easily. When it will be a long trip after loading, some operators hire a shovel guy to top up the load manually.

The dealer can give you the capacity, but likely stated in weight rather than volume. ....

My old New Holland loader had both the weight and volume capacities in it. Thought maybe Kubota would list the same. Have not had a chance to ask the dealer yet. Also as I mentioned previously I can use water to determine the struck capacity and then estimate what additional that I can carry. I know it will vary from load to load depending as you mentioned on the material and by ability to load the bucket.

I am just one of these old guys that screws around figuring how long it will take me to do a job than the time to actually do the job. ....

Rule of thumb, if long bumpy ride and not wanting to do it, takes too long and too many trips. If real enjoyable and having fun, not long enough. ....
