I am looking at a m5040 and a m5140. Both in mfwd with no cab. The dealer has two a weight for 2 wd and a weight for 4 wd. The kubota specs just list one weight. Can anyone tell me the weight of each or where to go. The funny thing is the 5040 shows to be 500 lbs lighter than the 5140 which makes no sense.

Thanks for the help

Only see any specs on the 5140 and from Kubota's site they are:
Weight ROPS Model lb. (kg)
4240 (1925) 2WD 4550 (2065) 4WD

As to which model weighs more don't forget the thickness of castings will affect weight and not easy to tell that just looking at a tractor.

Welcome to TP ....
