Hey there is a new Massey Ferguson GC2300 sub compact. Just saw it on AGCO's web site. Specs look good, heard it would be available in July. Price is supposed to be attractive as well.

Great tractor, was shopping for BX2200 or GC2300 and decided on the 2300 for several reasons. Smaller dealer, engine runs alot slower to provide HP 2600 rpms vs. 3200 on Kubota.

I priced both with tractor, front end loader and 60" belly mower.
Kubota about 12,600-12,800 depending on salesman
MF 13,000
Both are in huge demand in my area. Both offered 0% interest for 3 years. ....

Hi, I am also looking to buy either the GC2300 or the BX2300. Can anyone offer some pros/cons on either. Or maybe tell how happy/unhappy they are with either.

Before I bought a Kubota I priced MF/Agco, although I was looking at much bigger tractors than you are.
For whatever reason, I found that the Agco dealers always had better prices on the same tractor as the MF dealers. ....

Same reason the name-brand can of soup costs more than the store-brand at the market. The mfr is trying to get business from two different groups of consumers; the ones looking for the lowest price no matter what, and those that are brand loyal thinking that the product is of better quality. In fact, many times the products are literally produced on the same line with the only difference being the label. ....

One thing to consider is the resale on the kubota unit will be much higher. Also kubota has three year power train warranty not sure about the fergy. ....
