I am between a new Kubota BX 2230 and a NH TZ 25 with a FEL and 60" mmm. The TZ 25 is about $1,000 more here in the NW without haggling. I read all the posts and it seems like the concensus is pick your dealer. However, this being my first tractor, I have no experience with these dealers. Any other comments good or bad between these two choices?

Have you test-driven either of them? Do the controls make sense? Are they harder to steer, unsually loud, and/or uncomfortable to sit in? Do either/both have HST and 4wd?
Ask about warranty. When I got my bx23 last year it had a better warranty than the comparable NH I was looking at.
I test drove both and found the NH much louder when the mower was running. I also had a not-so-good NH dealer, so in the end I went with the kubota.
It pays to look at details, test drive, and ask lots of questions. What looked good in the ad wasn't the same experience to drive, so definitely try them out. ....

NH TZ25 has the Woods Groundbreaker X available which uses a subframe mount comparable in strength to the BX22/23 if you need to go with the NH.
A nice 'hoe by any measure, the Woods unit. Very comparable (maybe better?) to the factory Kubota unit. ....
