Personally I would go with the Front snow blow and rear finish mower with that tractor. And for get the supersteer. I have not seen one really happy mid mount mower owner of that size on that tractor happy. They tend to clog up all the time and give an uneven cut. ....

Thanks for the input. But in your message, is it a typo? Were you saying to "forget the supersteer" or "for sure get the supersteer? I've got a couple thousand berry trees to work around so a tight turning radius would be nice. Also, what do think about cabs? The one the dealer is listing seems a bit pricey, unless it's worth it. I'll need a cab but am wondering if a cheaper cab would be adequate. ....

It has been I while since I checked but I like the local dealer was about 21.5K for the tractor. I would at the least get another quote from another dealer even if it is out of your area.
The last I checked the Kioti DK-65 with cab was about 24K. I would check with Kubota etc. If you need the cab you can do better than 30K for a 45 HP tractor. ....

I would not get a super steer fro any kind of loader work or rear implement work. Just too tricky to get around with the added lengths. The cabs are very price and you can not get A/C. Not worth the money to me. ....

Look though my pics there are a few with the Sims Cab. The closest to the TC45 will be the pic of the TC55. ....

Yeah, you're right, I checked the specs and the SS does make a noticeable length change. As I'm new to tractors I wouldn't need the added distraction of "tricky" steering while getting used to and working the loader. I'll have to find out what difference it makes in price. As far as the cab goes, I'll house the tractor in the shop, but it's the winter time I'm wondering about. In the past I've worn a snow mobile suit for snow removal. I'll have quite a bit more snow to move at this new place. I would imagine the visibility is better without a cab. And, there are after market cabs quite a bit cheaper (not necessarily better) than the Simms.
