I just bought a tz24 and i want to get a 5' rear blade for it to plow snow. Can i put a normal size cat 1 blade on it. Will it lift it high enough. Do you have to get one of the xb blades or a small cat 0/1 blade? Thanks for help.

The 0/1 would be the best. Buy all the blade that you can as added weight will help it be productive. ....

I'd go with the King Kutter XB cause it gives you the most weight per dollar. Suggest getting the shoes to prevent it from digging too much. With small amounts of snow you can back drag so it won't dig too much. Make sure the KK can swivel 360 degrees. ....

I have a TZ24 that I brought in June 2004. I got a 72", cat 1, rear blade from a co-worker for $50. It works well for snow and dirt. However, the lift is limited and will only clear the ground about 18". I have no idea what brand as it is, as it has set outside most of its life. ....
