I picked up a couple new filters today to get ready to change , both my hydraulic and hydrostat original filters once my TC 30 New Holland tractor gets 50 hrs on it .(2005) ,
The smaller filter for the hydrostat is black . The bigger filter for the Hydraulis is white .
A while back I was told the smaller white US made filters were no good in cold weather because they leaked (40 or lower degrees ?)
Has anyone installed the bigger filter that is white in color not black and had any problems ???
Dealer says only the smaller hydrostat filter had problems and they no longer sell them .

My 33D had the black filter and I never had a problem and I lived in Michigan at the time. I did replace it with one from Carquest which is national chain like NAPA stores. I was surprised that the store had a cross reference listing for all the replaceables like air filters. Much to my dismay the prices were not cheaper than the dealer's but Carquest had them the next day. Dealers are few and far between here in 'sippi. ....
