Anyone have an idea? 2004 TC30 2wd with bucket. Ran all day and parked it. Came back and tractor will not start. Battery is fine and wouldnt jump. Seems to be no power getting to starter. Looks like a lot of censors on clutch, seat etc. Has anyone had a problem like this and where should I start? Thanks for any help.

A while back have about same thing to happen with my CUT Kubota. Somehow the safety switch on the pto did not line up where the lever now rested. Find this by holding the key to start position and just working all safety switches. That worked quicker in that case then using a meter to find the open safety switch but if you have a bad switch think you will need to test with a volt or ohm meter. Would think volt meter would be a little quicker to see if current if running through the switch. If you don't have a volt meter you could use a jumper wire but...not that safe as you could crank it in gear or such. You might be able to also use a jumper cable run straight to the starter by passing all relays and censors but again that is dangerous and people have been killed doing such.
There keeps being post here on a fuse (a current question right now as to what causes it) that keeps blowing on the NH, might want to check your fuses first and also don't forget the relays and even a bad ground. ....

Like Kenny mentioned, you might want to read up on the recent TC33D postings for the same issues.
The TC30 may be a slightly different machine electrically and possibly mechanically--the D's and DA's are all hydrostatics and have many more bells and whistles.
If you get it "figgered" out be sure and let us know --I'm one of them who has troubles with his. ....

Thanks for the info. It looks like I had two issues. 1st was the clutch sensor wire had been disconnected while pushing through some brush. I had reconnected it but only after I had engaged the pto a moment before. Of course due to my own ingnorance I had fixed one problem but caused another. My father in law got a good chuckle out of it and will run by this week to mess with the pto and try to start it. I will let you know the result and I appreciate help.

Mark some times chasing those connections can about make you pull your hair out. So that is the bald spot?
I have worked some two evenings this week on tracking a ground issue on a machine and so far have decided...it will much easier to just run a new ground to what is not working. ....

Yep, just read the TC33D note. I already responded to Kenny. I dont feel like the sharpest tool right now. I only have about 3 hours on the TC30 and learning its quirks. Thank you for taking the time to send you note.
