For whatever reason, my tractor will only run when emergency brake lever is pulled up. The tractor will start without the brake being depressed. As soon as you put it in gear, it stalls. I know it has to related to the brake plunger switch (it will only run when it is depressed...what happened?

It sounds like you have a problem in the circuit. Either a wire loose or a bad switch. ....
