I just bought a TC33D tractor and am wanting to fix some minor problems the previous owner didn't. I was wanting to know if there is a way to fix the telescoping function on the tractor. It always drops down and I can't turn the adjustment knob at the top of the steering wheel.
Any advice would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Mine is stuck in place. Even used a pipe wrench and messed up the knob. Go to messicks.com and input your model and search for the parts diagram for the steering column. Pretty sure it's a jamb nut inside the column like shower curtain pole has. Might just need some lube. Other things to keep an eye on are electrical gremlins---these have crappy electrical systems. Mechanically... solid though. Also keep an eye on the rubber elbows at the oil cooler. They crack. ....
