I purchased a JM-304 with backhoe and the instructions are lame at best. The manual came as a poor photo copy with pictures that are almost impossible to figure out. Does anyone know of a better source for a manual?

Did this lame manual come from Northern? or did you purchase used? Either way, you should be able to get a lame original from Northern Tools. And there's a partial online manual at http://www.johnstractor.homestead.com/JM304Manual.html

The manuals that NorTrac have now are better. The parts break down pictures are not very good but the tractor specs and info is better. I had the original manuals that came with my 2001 NT254 and got the ones they reworked for 2005 and they have more detail. Check with them and see if they have a better manual now. ....
