I was just looking through a box of pictures from my last vacation and in the background there was a picture of a kubota imposter called a branson...it was the same shape and all but red...opinions?

I looked at a Branson about a year ago. Not sure of the model #, 2535 I think.
Made in Korea had a Kukje engine if I recall.
Looked like a pretty solid looking machine to me.
The C-50 loader had one of the beefiest loader subframe/mounts I've seen on a compact tractor.
Can't say I noticed any similarities between Branson and Kubota.

i meant in the way they presented it...it was kind of like..hey have one of these instead (which i have no tolerance for) I didn't even pay attention to any of the attributed of the machine. I haven't noticed any around here though, is it just like a thing that is in the south? ....

It's not just in the south. The NH dealer near me in NW Oregon carries Branson too. ....

I've never seen a Kioti but the Bransons looked to be fairly well built. I didn't take them seriously because they didn't offer an HST when I was shopping and the dealer had just taken them on so they didn't have a track record with them. They were cheaper than NH by a good percentage (maybe 25% IIRC). ....
