I would like to find a source of basic barn plans and specs that I can then provide to a local carpenter to construct for me. I am surprised not to find any mention of a vendor of plans alone or a discussion here on this question. I did find extensive discussions referencing design/ build firms such as Morton Buildings and AB Barns in New Hampshire where I am located. I would prefer to have someone local build for me and I am "cost sensitive." I have in mind a barn roughly 30'x40' for tractor, implement and equipment storage and a small workshop--no livestock, at least not at the outset. Any suggestions?
