Does anyone know if the 47 backhoe will fit the 4700 tractor? I know it is not the ideal hoe for this tractor, but i am able to get one for a very good price-just need to do light trenching, and tree planting with hoe. thanks

What's it comming off? You will probably have to buy the mounting brackets and power beyond plumbing in addition.
Yes it should fit. BUT I'd check with JD first for the other parts and installation costs. ....
