I'm looking for help with the proper wiring for a Kubota 8900D generator/dynamo. It has two wires coming from it,
both the same color. Do I need a regulator? This is in a Ford 1300 with a retro Kubota motor. By the way, I picked the Kubota motor for my retro because of their good reputation.
Just another proud Forbota owner.

you don,t need a regulator per say as the dynamo does not produce a whole lot of power, but you will need a rectifier, as the output is ac. A full wave bridge rectifier from radio shack, bigger is better, is a cheap and easy solution. ....
