Lazyman,
There should be a bleed screw on top of the filter housing, loosen it.
Turn the ignition switch to ON to activiate the fuel pump.
Tighten the screw when the fuel coming out of the bleed screw no longer has air in it.
Turn ignition OFF.
If it still will not start, loosen the injector line fitting at the injectors and turn ignition ON again.
Crank engine until fuel flows from all lines. Turn ignition OFF and tighten fittings.
I hope you get in going.
Lee ....

Thanx to rollinns {Lee} for the reply on my JD 430. I

found out the problem was the fuel pump. I replaced the pump, then bled the sytem and it still wouldn't start, so i knew i was over my head. My locate dealer got it from there and found the injector pump, lines and injectors needed work. Thanx again.

I got the filter from my local J.D. dealer. he had them in stock. if that doesn't work try NAPA auto parts. My local NAPA has most any part for both my tractors and usually at a better price. If you still have no luck, let me know and I'll see what i can do. Tom ....
