Well, spring is here and I got my Bobcat stuck very badly in some mud by my ponds. I took my Kubota down to pull it out but it is new and I never used it for this before. The question was, where do I hook up the chains? I figured the drawbar was a good idea but is there a pin or something to attach the chain to? I ended up just hooking it to the supports of the rotary mower where it attaches to the 3PH and it worked but I didn't think that was ideal.

Hooking to the swinging drawbar is recommended by the manufacturers. I bought a clevis that fits one of the holes in my drawbar and put in on and left it. If you ever hook to anything on the 3 point hitch, just remember to keep the attachment point as low as possible; makes it harder to pull the front end up.
Hooking high is dangerous.
