I just bought a Ford 1210 with ag tires and a belly mower on it. I really want to put turf tires on it, so I don't tear up my lawn, but the local Ford/New Holland dealer hit me with a figure of $2600 for the rims and tires. Is this what I should expect to pay, or can someone give me any suggestion or vendor where I might get a better price? Any help would be much appreciated!!

He discounts e-mail ordered parts 10% and sends them directly to your address.Your price seems high. I was quoted $1200.00 for ags and rims for a new Kubota L3010.Carl ....

Just go to your Ford dealer and see what size and brand tires you would like to have on your tractor go to your local dealer and buy them. I just bought a set for my JD (Bar treads) thru my Goodyear dealer. If you want another set of rims, many are implement wheels with a 6 in. bolt patterb with 6 lugs. My bar treads cost me $300 and I just swithed them to my old wheels....Hope this helps.. Randy ....

I have a 1210 with turf tires and want to change to ag tires. I was quoted a price of $800.00 for a full set of 4 tires and wheels by my local Ford New Holland dealer on March 27, 1999. Where are you located? Maybe we could get togather and do a trade. ....

I am interested in the price of the turf tires and rims for the 1210. Do the turf tires help with stability of the tractor when turning with the loader bucket up about 3 feet high.

I haven't done a web search looking for tractor tires, but there almost certainly are sites the give prices for tires and rims. I go to a dealer for most things.
If the question of stability has occurred, then there probably is a problem. Carrying the bucket lower would do more for stability than any tire would. Stability in a turn probably is an insignificant factor in deciding whether turf tires are what is needed.
