Does anyone know if a 60" belly mower will be compatible with my JD 4200 with R1 tires? My dealer says that the front tires will hit in a hard turn. Anyone with experience? ThanksTodd

Todd, your dealer should have a data sheet that shows the various sizes of tires available, and the interference or clearances. I know the R4's will rub because I had the same concerns when I was looking at the 4200. I've since ordered a 4400 with the R4's.Hope this helps. ....

I have a JD 4200 with R-4 tires and 60" belly deck and my tires dont rub I have 18 hrs all mowing ....

R1 tire are taller that R4, and turf. R1 tires will contact the mower deck in the front and the rear. ....
